Just one teensy, tiny thing…Why didn’t Peter fly off himself?? He doesn’t need Nathan to fly & he might still recover but Nathan is fucked!! Bit disappointed in the writing there, they’d done so well with the plot holes until then…maybe they’ll be cleverer than me in series 2 & it’ll all be explained!
I agree totally with your comment, it seems they have spent so long leading up to the final scene that when it finally arrived they seemed to rush it and get it over with so quickly.
Its almost like they ran out of time. The end battle didnt really deliver what i expected and then to see Sylar had gone down a drain and not one of them made any comment.
Yeah, some good bits and some bad. As gotham said, why did’nt Peter just fly off on his own? and how come he couldn’t control the power this time?
Made me laugh that no one thought to check that Sylar was dead…I mean come on, I would be putting his body through a woodchipper just to be sure!
Looks as if the next series will answer some questions on the origin of the special abilities, But I would have liked to have seen what happened to all of the other characters, you know like a couple of months later or so.
I think they could really have done with a two hour episode to end the season.
Agree with all of those comments although if I were a writer i’d be answering you with something like “Peter has lots of abilities but can only use 1 at a time, he cannot use them in parallel. Because he couldn’t stop the radiation power, this locked out his ability to fly”
Sounds like a cop out but I guess it could be what they meant.
Syler ending was crap. They should have had a good 5 minute all action whack about. Shame.
7/10 and I think I’m being a little generous.
I think I preferred the Lost end double episode. That had some cracking moments.
Jack and Kate met at the end and said leaving the island was a mistake and he wanted to go back. The scene before he was in the hospital and said, get my dad down here if im more drunk than him you can fire me.
1, Was the Jack scenes from the future?
2, Or was is from the past??
3, and if it was the future, Jack went to Oz to get his dads body, so whats he doing alive in the future if it was a after island conversation.
The scenes were in the future. As for Jack saying “get my Dad down here”, the look on the guys face that he said it to looked like “dude, you are seriously fucked up, you’re dad is pushing up the daisy’s”
That’s how I read it. If they do some kind of voodoo shit where the island brought his dad back to life then yes, it is total bollox.
Have read a bit online about this, apparently the producers have said the last 2 seasons will be a complete shake up & rumours are the “flashbacks” will now be what happened on the island with the future stuff taking up the bulk of the plot.
The Jack stuff was indeed the future & if you remember, when the plane crashed on the island in series 1 & Jack found his Dad’s coffin it was empty, so it is possible that his Dad is still alive, we never saw him die. Personally I think he was so whacked up on drugs that he just said that but it is Lost & logic plays no part.
I was disappointed in the finale, thought it was really obvious that it was the future & there was no big twist, was gonna be Kate or Juliette at the end. Biggest question is whose funeral was it? I’m plumping for Sawyer, can’t believe Kate would still be with him. Also it’s now REALLY obvious that Kate is pregnant, think that’ll play a big role next season.
Jacob plays into my universal theory of Lost, that there is a psychic person trapped in the middle of the island who brought them all there on purpose to release him/her, hence why they are connected however looking back it does seem like Sawyer is the person that ties them all together. Also explains why everyone keeps seeing dead people, it’s the psychic tapping into their thoughts & using a recognisable face, hence Walt appearing to Locke in this episode. Also explains why the Others..although maybe they should now be called the Natives…keep going after the special kids, like Walt & Claire’s baby who we already know has some kind of power & fate.
Also, why hasn’t Richard aged a day in 30 odd years?
Thanks for posting, i am sorry but how can you just dismiss the dads death, Jacks a doctor im pretty sure he would have looked at the body or read the death report.
“oh he was taking back an empty coffin” thats just silly.
Why richard hasnt aged is intresting. I think its a parrallel universe, but ill leave the rest of my theory for poker

What didn’t you understand? For once it was quite sane!
