Got this game off steam over the weekend for $40.
First impression are very good, its easy to learn and jump right into as a foot soldier without worrying about becoming a newbie to the others in the server.
You can be Human or Strogg, then 1 of 5 classes. Soldier, Engineer, Medic, Sniper, Spy. Every class you can just attack with but each has its own ability. You can also fly and drive on your own or with others.
The great thing with Quake once you have brought the game its subscription free with hundreds of servers to choose from.
Well worth the download and i have to give it a massive 9/10!!

Errr isn’t this team fortress 2?
TF2 is a bit cartoony.
Quake Wars is much more serious. They have driveable and they say map areas are around 1 sqaure mile. TF2 is red and blue base facing each other with 100 yrds between.
I am playing as Dredlock if anyone wants to look me up!
