Normally the Oscar nominated films aren’t really my bag, but like most years I try to check them out missing any romantic epics and odd gay cowboy films.
This year’s watch has been “no country for old men†and “Michael Claytonâ€. I have just finished No country for old men and was totally blown away with the film. Before watching it I thought It was going to be some boring film about a Texan sheriff played by Tommy lee Jones. What it turned out to be, was a cant take your eyes off the film thriller that even in the boring talkie bits had me hooked to the screen for the quality of acting and dialog.
I don’t want to spoil the plot for you as the film unwinds as it plays. I really want to give this film 10/10 and put it in my top 10 films of all time, but I feel I must knock a point off for the ending and give it 9/10 and warn that like me, you may find yourself screaming at the TV at the end. I would love to know what you all think about it.
