Although this film had a quaint simple feel, I think casting such a strong American accent was a bad idea and maybe Ewan McGregor or Patrick Stewart would have been a better choice. Although the font was pleasant enough, I think the choice of location used to shoot this film was made based on a very low budget and maybe a shot of some kind of coi carp pond may have been better. To give it a better “edge” maybe some thrash metal could have been used instead of the pamby lift music. All in all 9/10 for sentiment but 3/10 for execution. Get that budget next time people!
