Why what?
build it, is it important, not spend it on fags?
I think it was a 50/50 choice between fags and a particle accelerator.
They build it because people keep making up stuff about what things are really made of. This will help scientists flip the bird to those that got it wrong.
I love the colours. The cabling contractors have come a long way from Grey :)
Seriously tho; the most sense I can find on the net is:
“They are working on a Particle Excellerator set to be turned on this year. They hope to discover what particles existed the minutes after the big bang. This is very interesting science I think. I also think that maybe that is what we see on Mars, the tubes on Mars could be Particle Excellerators from an ancient Martian civilization.”
I a fully prepared to accept of course that it is my tiny brain that is the issue here :)
