Tim is an Aussie comedy singer/song writer type chappy that I came across the other day.
He’s good.
Very similar to Stephen Lynch but newer on the scene and better in my opinion. His voice is amazing at times and some songs had me giggling like a girl. He has a couple of DVDs and albums too, available from all the usual places.
A big atheist and unafraid of handling hot subjects, some songs are edgy and angry rather than balls out funny but most are worth a look.
What most intersted me though was a “docco” as the Aussies call them about two years of his life when he was trying to “make it”. I loved it, a great insight into the comedy world and his struggles to get there.
He has a couple of more serious, mellow songs out there too and Drowned is a fantastic “dark room – glass full of JD” kinda song.
Avatar the movie is Cameron’s latest movie, he’s been working on it for ages and it’s here in December.
District 9 trailer looks VERY good. Getting rave reviews all over. Out here Sep4th.
