I found this on a long trail of links, browsing the net. Never seen a live performance from Louis of this song before. There’s a comment on yotube saying something like “If only we could all be this good and well meaning”… I concur.
How many times have you heard this song, taking for granted the voice and the inflection? Watching this now, I realise what a fab performer he was. He died just three years later. This clip was from a TV show from the good old BBC.
