My Firefox 3 Extensions

Have been meaning to post my add-ons I use to share with you lot and Blow’s post inspired me.

- Adblock Plus 0.7.5.5
http://adblockplus.org/
Couldnt live without this one. When I use IE at work and see how much chaff this saves me reading, I realise how much I take it for granted.

- BugMeNot 2.0
http://erichamiter.com
Handy little option to right click on the login field of a site that asks for a user/pass and it chooses one from the bugmenot site. More and more decent sites are stoping this from wiorking but it helps on loads still.

- ChatZilla 0.9.83
http://chatzilla.hacksrus.com/
Handy IRC client right in the browser. It is a large plugin and I hardly use it at all. However, it has been right handy a couple of times and it saves me from going to install Mirc :)

- Distrust 0.8.1
http://www.gness.com/
Fab idea. You can click this icon in your status bar, browse and d/l all you want, then click it again and alkl traces of your session will be removed. Good for shared PCs.

- dotCOMplete 1.4.2
Couldnt live without this and miss it terribly on my IE box at work. Simple stuff, you can assign any domain suffix to a shortcut. Like CTRL-ENTER for .com and SHIFT-ENTER for .co.uk.

- DownThemAll! 1.0.3
http://downthemall.net/
Feature rich downloader for FF. I love this tool, it maxes out my d/l bandwidth and has pause resume. Many advanced features such as download all items on page within filter criteria.

- Extension List Dumper 1.14.1
http://sogame.awardspace.com/
Used it to start off this list!

- Image Zoom 0.3.1
http://imagezoom.yellowgorilla.net/
I use this a fair bit. Ever seen an image on a page and just wanted to make it a bit bigger, perhaps zoom it on or out? This is your buddy.

- Java Console 6.0.06
Never heard of it! Lets hoep its not spyware!

- Password Exporter 1.1
http://passwordexporter.fligtar.com
Love this one, I use this to export all my saved passwords from FF (I would be in trouble if I lost that list!) and then I encrypt it in my Keepass file on the usb stick.

- PicLens 1.7.0.3458
http://www.piclens.com/
Just found this one and I must say, its very cool. Prolly not use it much but still, its very well done. Think Apple album flow for FF. They have a “channel” there that shows latest film trailers in their swish interface, worth a look.

- QuickDrag 1.0.5
http://mozilla.ktechcomputing.com/quickdrag/
Now this IS the one I can not do without. I used to use Superragandgo, but this is better. Saves me time and keeps me lazy :)

- ScrapBook 1.3.3.6
http://amb.vis.ne.jp/mozilla/scrapbook/
One of the most established and popular add-ons for FF. Simply saves web pages for later retieval. It saves them as web pages and will show them exactly as the original. Also allows you to save parts of the page. Very good idea, I save all my online order conf pages.

- Stylish 0.5.7
http://userstyles.org/stylish/
Lets you add tiny scripts to your browser to change the way it looks and behaves. I colour my tabs, squeeze the not-so awesome bar and lose the mag glass from the search box. Thousands more scripts available.

- Tab Mix Plus 0.3.6.1.080416
http://tmp.garyr.net
This is in beta for FF3 but works fine. Too many features to mention. I would say if you dont have it now, you dont need it!

- Tiny Menu 1.4.9
http://trac.arantius.com/wiki/Extensions/TinyMenu
Part of my “one line interface” setup. This moves the whole menu items into one. Helps me save my precious realestate. I only have 1900×1200 :)

- View Cookies 1.7
http://www.bitstorm.org/extensions/view-cookies/
I have this so I can delete ALL cookies from a specific site. Real handy when I am using Quidco.

- Web Developer 1.1.6
http://chrispederick.com/work/web-developer/
Use this a fair bit when designing web pages, completely useless if you dont!

OK, that’s it. Lemme know if you use any I have missed and I will try them out!
