Dropbox invite

Hi maties.
I am trying out dropbox and wondered if you have seen it/tried it? It’s a funky util to sync files between any pc. Supports all OSs, inlcuding iPhone. A handy app to get stuff onto my iPhone and sharing bookmarks/password files between work and home bla bla. It’s 256bit encrypted too so as safe as it gets.
Also, if you add your account, I get 250MB of space added!
Google Dashboard shows you all the Google related info linked to your Google account.
It seems that I use quite a bit of Google products! Very clever page, I love how simple they make such a BIG process look.

Did you (firefox users) know that you can see how many ads your adblock-plus has “saved” you from?
It’s there in the prefs, I didnt know it was there.
Oh how I live ye Adblock-plus.
Grab music without torrents

I had not known about this until recently. Say you want to sample (read:download) the latest music by you fave artist (Take That for Jezz):
Search google for “site:blogspot.com” & the artist or song name and there are lots of pages with links to direct downloads. Takes a little seceltion but the direct downloads are less obvious than torretns.
Also, if you do a fair bit of direct downloads from the likes of rapidshare and the like, you need this fab Firefox addon called skipscreen. Saves aload of clicks and waiting.

Google Street View

IS the bollox.
Sometimes I see something that revives my worhip to the tech gods. This is one time.
Google have release Street View for some major UK towns and it is very cool.
Blow and Ferr will remember this place and with street view, you can walk back to work!
